Today's Evening edition comes following a big event! A couple of hours ago the Guardians of the Galaxy Set Optional Buy was revealed, bringing living and zombie Heroes out of this world! If you haven't yet, make sure to check it out!
And now, it's time to check out the latest headline!
In this edition, the Daily Bugle honors one of its prized reporters.
Today’s Daily Reward is adding the Kickstarter Exclusive Ben Urich for all backers, including his Bystander Piece and 2 Spawn Cards for hunting him in Zombie Mode or rescuing him in Hero Mode!
Note the X-Men Resistance core box is needed to play in Hero Mode.
Ben is a crack reporter who’s used to putting himself in dangerous situations and making a quick getaway when all hell breaks loose. By Rescuing/Devouring him, the player gains the ability to spend Power/increase Hunger in order to move away, ignoring Enemies, whenever a Rush spawn card is revealed.
J. Jonah Jameson is already in a heated discussion with his staff about tomorrow’s Morning Edition.
But that's not all for this update because we've also just met the $4,475k mark and unlocked Zombie Moon Knight!
Speaking of Guardians of the Galaxy, the next Stretch Goal is flying by the seat of his pants!
If we reach $4,550k we will unlock the Kickstarter Exclusive living Star-Lord for all backers, including his Super Hero Piece, ID Card for playing him in Hero Mode, and Spawn Card for fighting him in Zombie Mode!
Note the X-Men Resistance core box is needed to play in Hero Mode.
Hero Mode: Star-Lord is all about teamwork, whether it be using his boosters to quickly maneuver around the map, calling a Group Huddle to strategically make a plan of attack, or just bolstering his allies via his “We Got This!” Skill.
Zombie Mode: Never one to fight alone, when Star-Lord makes an appearance he will call in the rest of the team, spawning an additional Super Hero to assist him.

Hero Mode: Johnny Blaze may just be the best-equipped hero to deal with a world overrun by zombies. His Mystical Chain can lash at the hordes from a distance, and his Hellfire can help keep them at bay. But more than anything, his Penance Stare has never been as effective as when unleashing it on Zombie Heroes. Since they are all already consumed by the guilt of the victims they are compelled to devour, even the strongest Zombie Hero finds themselves at the mercy of their sins.
Zombie Mode: Zombie Heroes carrying the guilt of having devoured a Bystander will have a hell of a time facing off against the Ghost Rider’s deadly Penance Stare.

Time to check out the latest headline!
In this edition, we ask: Why wasn’t one of the most powerful heroes around to stop the initial outbreak?
Today’s Daily Reward is adding the Kickstarter Exclusive living Captain Marvel for all backers, including her Super Hero Piece, ID Card for playing her in Hero Mode, and Spawn Card for fighting her in Zombie Mode!
Note the X-Men Resistance core box is needed to play in Hero Mode.
HERO MODE: Using photon blasts to vaporize the zombie threats, Captain Marvel is a devastating front-line fighter. Able to utilize her unique Skills such as the “Danvers’ Special” to dive right into the thick of the fight, she is a fantastic addition to any team.
ZOMBIE MODE: Always there to protect the innocent, players trying to make a quick meal of Bystanders will find it difficult, as any time they move into a Bystander’s Zone, Captain Marvel will respond, heroically jumping in the way to protect those around her.

Look alive, Heroes!
Our first weekend is proving quite rewarding, with an imposing Stretch Goal unlocked:
Achieved with some assistance from our recently revealed Extra Dice Set Optional Buy.
Hell’s Kitchen is living up to its name, with another Stretch Goal roaming it to find some food.
If we reach $4,350k we will unlock the Kickstarter Exclusive zombie Daredevil for all backers, including his Zombie Hero Piece, ID Card for playing him in Zombie Mode, and Spawn Card for fighting him in Hero Mode!
Zombie Mode: If Matt Murdock had no fear before, now that he’s a zombie he can be downright reckless. He uses his amazing agility to jump in and out of danger with great ease. Whereas Daredevil used to use his Grapple Baton to save those around him, it now offers a quick line to pull in potential prey.
Hero Mode: Daredevil uses his enhanced senses to hunt Super Heroes, pouncing on them seemingly out of nowhere, as he gets activated whenever a Rush card is drawn.

HERO MODE: A capable fighter, Namor has it all: power, speed, and the smarts to get any task done. If you want a mix of brawn and brain, then Namor is your Super Hero.
ZOMBIE MODE: Namor can initially perform several Actions each time he activates, making him an enormous threat to the players. However, the longer he stays on the board (and away from water) the less Actions he’s able to perform. So if you can evade his initial onslaught, you just might stand a chance.
