Look alive, heroes!

As more and more backers start receiving their Galactus, we see a few people having some difficulty assembling it. As you know, while Galactus comes mostly pre-assembled, the head and right arm come separate so you can alternate between his living version and zombie version.

Assembling these parts is a simple matter of sliding them into their slots. However, if you slide them at the wrong angle you will get a bad assembly. If you force the assembly in a wrong angle you could even damage your Galactus.

To avoid such issues, we put together the guide below to ensure you have a smooth time with Galactus.

Living Arm

Insert the arm in the direction of the peg:

Hold the body gently but firmly while pushing the arm in.

Arm assembled:

Living Head

Hold the head vertically and slide it down into the peg. The chin should be lined up with the front of the wedge on the neck:

Assembled head:

The living head is tilted slightly down.

Zombie Arm

Insert the arm in the direction of the peg:

Hold the body gently but firmly while pushing the arm in.

Zombie Head

Pay special attention when assembling the zombie head. Its angle is quite different from the living head, which can be misleading. Make sure to attach it slowly, making sure to feel if the connection is sliding in the right way.

Hold the head tilted up and with the chin pointing to the side of the wedge on the neck:

Slide it down the peg, jiggling it slightly to make sure everything is lining up.

The head must NOT be vertical and the chin must NOT be lined up with the front of the wedge on the neck. Galactus should be looking more to HIS left and up.

The zombie head is tilted up.

Left Hand adjust

The left arm comes assembled, with the hand holding the machinery next to Galactus. However, in some cases it's possible the hand disconnects from the machinery during shipping. This is easily resolved.

This is what it looks like if the hand is not attached properly to the machinery:

To fix it, simply push the hand so it's centered with the machinery peg. Move it around until you feel the connection with the peg:

Then just press down on the hand to connect it to the peg.

First we have an update on the shipping of Galactus the Devourer:

•  APAC: Fulfillment has been completed.
•  Australia Hub: Fulfillment has been completed.
•  Canada Hub: Fulfillment has been completed.
•  Europe Hub: Half of the containers have already been sent out to backers, with more arriving at the hub this week.
•  USA: The boxes are pre-labeled in China so when they arrive at the ports they won't need to go to a distribution hub, being dispatched straight to backers. Most East Coast containers are on the way, with the last ones shipping out by early next week. Delivery to East Coast backers should start in late June. The first West Coast containers are already being loaded and more will continue to be shipped out until late June.
•  Latin America: For some of these countries (Brazil, Chile, and Mexico), the parcels have already been shipped individually directly to backers from China, who should be receiving their tracking information. Other countries will be fulfilled normally through the USA hub.

In regards to Wave 2 Production and Shipping, things are moving relentlessly ahead, if a little slower than previous estimates. While all printing is ready, the first batch of plastics will be finished by mid June, with the remaining batches coming in until July (this is a BIG campaign). As soon as the first plastics are ready, the products will start being assembled and sent for packing individual pledges so hopefully we'll be able to start shipping out by the beginning of July.  Assembling and shipping will go on in batches so backers can start receiving their pledges as soon as possible. This is by far the largest and most complex campaign we have ever undertaken. We apologize if we don't quite hit the original delivery estimate, but we are confident the end result will be more than worth the wait. We will keep you updated as we get more solid shipping dates.

Manufacturing of Wave 2 is well underway. As stated previously, shipping should start in June if everything stays the course. With that in mind we'd like to remind all backers that if you want/need to change your address, please read THIS UPDATE carefully and follow the steps described. The deadline to submit a ticket to our Customer Support is TODAY May 12th.

Now we have an update on the shipping of Galactus the Devourer:

•  APAC: Fulfillment has been completed.
•  Australia Hub: Fulfillment has been completed.
•  Canada Hub: The Containers have arrived at the hub and pledges are being processed. Tracking information should start going out early next week.
•  Europe Hub: Containers should start arriving at the hub next week for distribution.
•  USA Hub: The first containers are on their way to the hub, with more leaving throughout May and up to Mid-June. The first parcels should start being delivered to backers in mid-June.

Oh, as many of you noticed in the previous update, the Exclusive Promos that backers get with these expansions will come as part of the expansions themselves! Of course, that is only for the boxes delivered to Kickstarter backers. For retail, these expansions will have different trays that do not hold the extra Promos.

As production goes on, the factory is sending us some quite trippy photos of the production line that we'd like to share with you. See if you can identify them.

Final Call for Change of Addresses

With Wave 2 production underway we start turning our sights to shipping, which should start in June. With that in mind we have an important announcement regarding any change of addresses. If you want/need to change your address, please read this update carefully and follow the steps below. The deadline to submit a ticket to our Customer Support is May 12th.

1. Go to support.cmon.com to submit a ticket to our support team. Do not send e-mails to support or post comments on the campaign or social media. The only way to change addresses is by submitting a request through the URL above.

2. On the top right corner you'll see Submit a Request. Click on it. You'll be redirected to a form to submit a ticket to our support team.

3. Request Type: Select 'Change Of Address'.

4. Email: Make sure to fill in the 'email' field with the email used to back this project (regardless if you backed via Kickstarter or if you Late Pledged). This is the email to which your pledge manager was set up, and it's absolutely needed for our team to find your pledge and provide support faster.

5. Subject: Please use 'Marvel Zombies - Address Change' as subject.

6. Lastly, make sure to add and fill out the rest of the fields in the form with the relevant information.

Please keep in mind that it may take a few days for the support team to reach you back, as our team receives many requests and questions daily. For this reason, do not submit more than 1 ticket. This will only slow down the process.
