This should be hopefully out last update regarding Wave 1 shipping. While all other hubs have fully delivered all Wave 1 boxes a while ago, unfortunately the USA hub delivery was not as smooth. Due to holiday backlogs and the inclement weather conditions, the logistics company was only able to start sending out the packages now. The good news is that thousands have already been dispatched, and they estimate everything will be sent out within a week. So we apologize for the unforeseen delay, we know many of you were hoping to crack open your core box during the holidays and it's a pity that wasn't possible. We hope the experience you'll have with your game now that it's about to arrive will make up for it.

As the factories wind down for their Chinese New Year break, we are hard at work getting the last print files approved, so that full production of Wave 2 can start as soon as the factories get back online. We have also received basically all the final plastic samples, which we'll be showcasing in future updates.

One large product that is already underway is the impressive Galactus the Devourer expansion, which understandably requires a greater lead time.  For that reason we have given it priority, and in fact production of it is already underway! It will go on hiatus during Chinese New Year and resume as soon as the factory gets back to work, so everything can be ready in time. We have just received a full sample of it, not only of the giant Galactus piece, but also the printed expansion that comes inside. Let's check it out.

As the end of the year approaches, let's see how Wave 1 shipping is progressing.

USA Hub: The containers have arrived at the distribution hub and are being processed. Now it's just about how quickly they are able to send everything out.

BRAZIL: 90% of pledges have been delivered to backers. A few are still in customs (make sure to check up on your delivery) or ran into delivery issues. Please contact support if you're having trouble.

Europe Hub: The container was delayed a bit but should be arriving at the distribution hub early next week.

Canada Hub: The container arrived yesterday at the hub. Should start fulfilling next week.

More and more print files are being sent to the factory in preparation to start Wave 2 production. The plastic samples are also almost all approved, so we can start showing off more of them. Here are all of the Fantastic 4 plastics!

Not much to report regarding shipping and delivery of Wave 1, which is a good thing. They're getting close!

USA Hub: The 2 containers for this hub (which also serves most of Latin America) will clear customs this week, and should be arriving at the hub December 6th

BRAZIL: To avoid the issues we've been having lately with shipping to Brazil from the USA hub, these pledges have been sent directly from China. The pledges are already clearing customs, with tracking numbers being sent out.

Europe Hub: Pledges are estimated to arrive at the hub on December 12th.

Canada Hub: Pledges are estimated to arrive at the hub on December 15th.

 In the meantime, work on Wave 2 is progressing very well. Most of the graphic files for the expansions are already undergoing approval with Marvel, and we've received samples of all the plastics, though some are still being refined back and forth.

We just received a sample of the full plastics box for X-Men Resistance, with the trays and all the game pieces, so how about we share a little glimpse of Hero Mode Marvel Zombies?

As always, we start with a little update for the shipping and delivery of Wave 1.

Asia, Australia, and New Zealand: The vast majority of backers have already received their pledges, with only a few exceptions that are being resolved.

USA Hub: Pledges are estimated to arrive at the hub on December 6th.

Europe Hub: Pledges are estimated to arrive at the hub on December 12th.

Canada Hub: Pledges are estimated to arrive at the hub on December 15th.

We would like to remind backers that the our commitment for 2-Wave Expedited Shipping has always been that you will receive your Core Box months in advance of the delivery for the full campaign, and that is certainly the case. As always, the delivery estimates posted on the campaign page are only estimates, and something we have no way to guarantee (otherwise they wouldn’t be estimates), though we do our best to not stray too far from it. We understand it’s frustrating to wait, but just please understand that delivery estimates are never a hard deadline.

For those starting to get their hands on the Marvel Zombies core box, we have just uploaded a special bonus Zombie Mode Mission to our website HERE.

Unlike regular Missions which are played with 4-6 Heroes, the Anti-Hunger Device Mission was specially designed to be played with only 2 Zombie Heroes, bringing new options for players.

Meanwhile, work on Wave 2 continues, and a lot of work there is! Print files for all the expansions are being finalized one by one, while the factory sends us plastic samples so we can eliminate any defects in the molds.

The plastic samples for the Sentinel Strike expansion just came in, and they're looking mighty impressive!

Delivery Update, Lucca, and Plastic Tokens

Let's start with an update for the shipping and delivery of Wave 1.

Asia, Australia, and New Zealand: All pledges have already been mailed to backers. Tracking information was uploaded last week, and packages have already started to arrive at backers' doors!

USA, Latin America, Europe, and Canada: All pledges have been picked up and placed on their respective boats, which will be departing next week. They are expected to arrive at their respective distribution hubs in early to mid-December. We'll keep you updated as delivery progresses.

This past week, CMON was at the Lucca Comics & Games event in Italy, showcasing our upcoming games. Chief among them was Marvel Zombies, getting top billing on our booth and turning many a passers-by head.

Besides running demos and showing the painted game pieces, we had a very special guest: Marco Checchetto, the lead artist in the project, was at hand to talk to attendees and do signings, with a line that stretched around the outside of the booth.

While the Marvel Zombies core box is not available yet, but we did bring a first copy to gift to Marco. What many may not know is Marco is an avid gamer, and particularly a Zombicide fan! He couldn't wait to take his copy back to his room and play with his creations.

Finally, we have received the plastic samples of the Plastic Token Set and everything is looking just great. Check them out!
